Delete your Satinder Sartaaj account
Last Updated: 2 November 2026
This page explains how to delete your account in the Satinder Sartaaj app (Sartaj) and what happens to your data when you do.
1. Delete your account in the app
Open the Satinder Sartaaj app, sign in, and go to:
Menu (≡) → Account Settings → Delete Account
Confirm, and your account is deleted straight away.
2. Delete your account without the app
Don't have the app any more? Delete your account here with the phone number you sign in with. We'll text you a 4-digit code to make sure it's you.
Your account has been deleted
Signed in with Google or Apple, with no phone number on your account? Email quamsingh@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We'll delete it and confirm by email within 30 days.
3. What gets deleted
- Your profile: name, phone number, email address, profile photo, date of birth, gender and location
- Posts, photos and videos you shared
- Polls you created with their votes, and your votes in other polls
- Events and opinions you created
- Your comments, likes and reports, and the comments, likes and reports on your content
- Your community memberships and join requests
- Your interests, notification settings and notifications
- Sign-in sessions and registered devices
- Your activity history
4. What is kept, and for how long
- 30 days to change your mind. As soon as you delete your account you're signed out on every device and stop getting notifications. Your data is kept for 30 days and then erased for good. Sign in again within those 30 days and your account is restored.
- Communities you created are not deleted, because other members belong to them. Your own posts, comments and profile in them are deleted.
- Backups and server logs. Database backups are kept for 7 days and server logs for up to 30 days, so erased data disappears from them within that time too.
- Notifications already delivered to other people's phones can't be recalled.
- Nothing else is kept, unless the law requires us to keep it.
